League of Pissed Off Voters Guide to New York City Candidates

Complacent

Here we are in the eye of the storm. After an epic and
endless weekend living loud on the streets of New York City,
we pause and prepare for the coming election day. Tuesday
will be historic and you get to be in the thick of it. But
who will mislead this country for the next four years is
only one of the decisions we need to make as we step into
the voting booth tomorrow.Below is a progressive voters guide put together by The
League of Pissed Off Voters, which will give you a hint of
who is who in the local elections. For full info and voter
guides for other cities look to: Indyvoter

Also, to everyone who receives this message, take 23 seconds
to join the IndyVoter Bloc at:
Bloc

By joining the bloc we can push for more progressive
policies in local government by showing a united voting
front. It only takes a second and it will help change this
city.

Thank you for all you are doing.
You are the rockstars and we are your biggest fan.

Reason: -(South and West Bronx, East Harlem, Roosevelt

Yeah! Supporting community gardens, the arts, educational
funding and Rockefeller drug law reform. Serrano has the
power to move a progressive agenda. Here's the scoop:
Democratic New York City Councilman Jose M. Serrano is
running for the position that was left open by Olga Mendez
(a Democrat until she turned-coat two years ago and became a
Republican). During his time on the council, Jose Serrano
has gotten funds to support community gardens and the arts
in the Bronx. He has a real passion for bringing art to his
constituents, who he recognizes live in the arts capital of
the country, but usually cannot afford to participate in it.
He is for reforming the Rockefeller drug laws and supports
increased educational funding. More importantly, Serrano
understands the pressures his community faces due to
low-paying jobs and unaffordable housing, and he says he is
committed to bringing change and growth to his community.
