A number of conspiracy theories are evolving in the aftermath of the recent code-red worm that infected Windows NT web servers this past week.
Robert Cringly of PBS takes the position that microsoft is trying to undermine the open standards of the internet in order to replace it with a modified standard that they own
Another theory posted by Wayne Madsen at: http://www.politechbot.com/p-02337.html considers it the internet version of the Reichstag Fire."
