NYC LiveWork Coalition Calls for Loft Eviction Ceremony
December 13, 2001 - 6:42pm -- jim
LiveWork Coalition Members and Friends,
Please be reminded that we will be having a very
important event this Sunday, December 16th,
4:30PM-5:30PM, to commemorate the D.U.M.B.O. evictions
of December 2000. This will be a Candlelight Rally at
the site of the evictions, 247 Water St.
The press and our legislative representatives will be
there, including Joe Lentol, Richard Gottfried and
others. A large turn-out will send a strong message to
the press and the legislators.
We need everyone to donate an hour of their time this
Sunday to stand with us in support of A5580, The Next
Generation Loft Law.
Bring friends and download a poster from the BLWC
website for your building. (See link listed below)
