ABC No Rio, the Lower East Side gallery and arts
center, will be holding a benefit art sale, the
Clothesline Show, on Thursday December 14 and Friday
December 15 from 7:00 to 10:00pm, on both nights.

This benefit event will feature affordable works on
paper by emerging artists. Work will be presented on
clotheslines strung through ABC No Rio's gallery
space, and will be unframed, two-dimensional work, and
no larger than 11" X 17". Prices will range from $25
to $50.

Proceeds from this benefit art sale will go towards
ABC No Rio's Building Renovation Fund.Since its inception in 1980, ABC No Rio has been a
vibrant and active part of New York City's radical
cultural scene. It is an open, accessible and
supportive venue for emerging artists and is
internationally known for its commitment to socially
and politically engaged culture. It is unique in its
desire to bring together artists and activists, and to
foster a greater dialogue among them.

Envisioned for No Rio's site on Rivington Street is a
brand new multi-use community arts center with photo
darkroom, silk-screen printing facility, zine library,
computer center, and expanded space for art, music,
performance, educational and community activities.
