§ 3:00 PM: MARCH FROM GROUND ZERO, CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE AT
MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

· The War Resisters League and School of the Americas
Watch will converge at Cortland St/Ground Zero and march
north on Broadway to Madison Square Garden, where they
will enact a "die-in" on the street.

gather at Sotheby's to defend the memory of Johnny Cash
with the power of song.

ACTION

· Gays Against Bush will gather to target the RNC Missouri
delegation to protest the "Show Me" State's recent display
of anti-gay bigotry with the passage of the Anti-Same-Sex
Marriage Missouri State Constitutional Amendment.

§ 7:00 PM: "CREATE A WORLD OF TRUE SECURITY" ACTION

· Create a World of True Security will gather at Herald
Square and construct a model of a world of real security
and true democracy. They ask affinity groups to bring
things that show what true security means to them. Groups
may offer food or water, paint the streets, offer healing,
share songs, tell a stories or engage in discussions about
a world of true security and an end to Bush's endless war
and Homeland In-Security. If the police prevent them from
creating this world or attempt to remove them, those who
choose to will refuse to cooperate, sitting down and
nonviolently holding the space, risking arrest if
necessary.
