Riff-Raff – new web domain and issue #6 on its way

Johan Forsberg writes:
The Swedish journal "Riff-Raff – communism and class struggle theory" has a new web domain [http://www.riff-raff.se and http://www.riff-raff.se/english/ for the english version]. The old website will cease to exist in short. Please update your links and bookmarks!

The new website is also updated with a fortunately more user-friendly design. Here you will find some of our own material from the journal, but also texts not before on the internet as an excerpt from "The American Worker" by Ria Stone and "On Organization" by Jacques Camatte / Gianni Collu.

As we have said before we have tried and will continue to try to translate our own texts into English. So far we have only managed to translate some of them and the titles. We are especially glad that we already can present a translation of the editorial for the coming issue #6 on the website.

The coming issue #6 has 164 pages. From the table of contents:

- Aufheben´s decadence-trilogy with a new preface by them. The trilogy is a critique of the decadence-theory (objectivist marxism) It´s also evaluates the Situationist International, Socialisme ou Barbarie and operaismo/autonomism. Our editorial this time is on dialectics and the meaning of communism. It is inspired by Aufheben´s discussion but also classic texts by Karl Korsch and Anton Pannekoek relating to the decadence-theory that we have translated into Swedish for this issue.

- Reviews of Beverly Silver´s “Forces of Labor” about the globalization of capital and class struggle since 1870 and Kolinko´s “Hotlines” about callcenters and militant inquiries.

- Another Swedish premiere: The preface to the second Russian edition of the Manifesto of the Communist Party on the communist potential of the Russian peasant commune, the obshchina. Here Marx and Engels show a revolutionary side opposed to the traditional Russian marxists.

Riff-Raff is a journal in Swedish for a theoretical discussion on communism as a real movement. We are interested in all aspects of the autonomous struggle and organization of the working class, the negation and possible "aufhebung" of capital.

We are inspired by left-communism and operaism though strive to go beyond these currents by returning to Marx in the search for a new synthesis."
