2nd Annual Brooklyn Underground Film Festival
Line-Up of Films, Music and Art
The 2nd annual Brooklyn Underground Film Festival (BUFF) will showcase 97
films from 12 countries between October 8-14 in their DUMBO screening room
and mainspace. BUFF 2003 includes 32 world premiers and 75 New York premiers
of underground films from around the globe. The fest is presented in a
lounge and club atmosphere with nightly music events and daily Happy Hours.Over 20 local artists will be presenting video
installations, painting, sculpture, and interactive multi-media art. Full

Films and participants of note include:
PUBLIC DISCOURSE (world premier film
on Brooklyn street-art);
SUCH IS MY KARMA (US premier doc on polish
street-kids);
NOT TOO MUCH REMEMBER (brilliant found footage montage by Tony
Gault - East Coast Premier),
BATAILLE (abstract experimental based on
Rashomon by Nicolas Provost) --The Stepfather and the Suitor (US premier,
Joe Gibbons);
3D TRICK PONY (IN 3D!!) and TRICK OR TREAT PONY (both live
performance/ video with Ben Coonley, Brooklyn artist);
THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN MINE AND JIMMY CAROL'S GAME (basketball and america from backyard
hoop, World Premier, by Seth Toedter).
