Reframing 9/11 Conference, New York City, September 11-14, 2003

"Reframing 9/11: Alternatives to Endless War"

September 11, 12, 13, 14

The Riverside Church & Cathedral of Saint John the Divine

Join over 40 local, national and global grassroots activists, scholars, journalists in New York on this second anniversary of September 11 to firmly extract the tragic day from the cynical and deadly embrace of the Neo-Cons and imprint it with the Peace and Justice Agenda emerging globally from the grassroots people's movements.

Corporate Globalization by any name -- be it "War on Terror" or "Homeland Security" -- is recognizable by its tell-tale marks: double-speak and propaganda; war; militarization of police function, domestic budgets and educational opportunities; and expansion of corporate privatization of all resources through attacks (characteristically race, class and gender based), on human beings and the environment which sustains human society.

YOU WONT FIND THE CORPORATE MASS MEDIA TELLING IT LIKE IT IS.

THAT IS WHEN THE PEOPLE TURN TO WBAI 99.5 FM - PACIFICA, THE PEOPLE'S RADIO
