WHO: This conference is for community activists, oppressed and Indigenous

THIS IS A PEOPLE OF COLOR ONLY EVENT, sponsored by the Students
Movement for Justice at Wayne State U., the Black Autonomy Network of
Community Organizers-S.W. Michigan chapter, and our friends in the
Anarchist movement.

SUPPORT: To all Anarchists and @ organizations: This is a chance for us to
diversify the Anarchist movement. We ask that you support this effort.

Although this is a people of color only event, white Anarchists and
supporters should encourage individuals and groups of color they know about
the event to attend, and organize to help them attend this conference by
raising money for them, and publicizing this event widely.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

1. Form *local organizing committees* in your city, region or state to make
this conference as large and as significant as possible. The local organizing
committees are primarily responsible for distributing news locally about the
conference, identifying and assembling the persons who wish to attend,
distributing literature, and raising funds to be used to bring people to the
conference.

2. We recommend that you begin raising money now for travel and housing,
since we will only be able to house a limited number of persons. It may be
necessary for you to obtain campus housing or a local hotel if you wait until
the last minute.

3. Begin selecting delegates from your organization now for your tribe,
community, or organization who can attend.

4. Anarchist groups should financially sponsor such delegates by paying them
directly for travel expenses, or by contributing to the Conference
Scholarship fund so that we can pay for the expenses of such a conference
delegate. [P.O. Box 19962, Kamalmazoo, MI. 49106.

5. Participants pay a $ 10-20 fee for each person for all food and other

expenses of the conference. We are working to obtain catering and Food Not
Bombs for this event, and the expenses and details for food will be put
forward in another message.

6. Although we will have guerrilla workshops on the day(s) of the event, we
are asking conference participants to please advise us well in advance if you
or your group wants to put on a workshop for conference attendants, what the
nature of the workshop will be, who the facilitator(s) and when it will be
held

7. We ask that all Anarchist movements support the event by donating money
so that we can pay for the expenses of the conference. P.O. Box 19962, K’zoo,
MI. 49109

8. Please advise us if your group wants to table and sell literature at this
event. ($20-40 fee).
