The Worker Art Show is group exhibit which showcases the artwork of unknown
local artists, who are working people especially those who are members of
labour unions. The contributions of artists like these have been
unrecognized and under utilized by both arts communities and the union
movement. The creators of this work introspectively use their own
experiences and resources to identifiy describe, question and possibly
resolve issues important to them. These actions have resulted in vibrant
and lively work. We hope this show will inform educate, enlighten and
encourage both participants and viewers with much needed relevance and
vitality.

from North America. The show speaks to issues which are vital to
understanding the world today. Anarchism, the anti-globalization movement,
working-class rights, the destruction of the environment, corporate
control, police brutality, homelessness, and gentrification. Overtly
political art is often shunned by the established art community, though
more and more activist groups are incorporating art into their methods and
work. This show presents a visually exciting show that people of all
