A Lecture in Rose Auditorium, Cooper Union, New York City 6:30 PM, March 4, 2011

Franco Berardi (Bifo) is a writer, and media-activist. He founded the magazine A/traverso and was part of the staff of Radio Alice, the first free pirate radio station in Italy. He is the author or co-author of the Autonomedia titles Precarious Rhapsody and Ethereal Shadows. His last book is The Soul at Work. He teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and is co-founder of the e-zine www.th-rough.eu.

Bifo will speak about the recent European student movements, that have questioned the legitimacy of the European leading ideology, and have started a process of subjectivation of precarious cognitive labour. Read a sample of Bifo's work on this topic here.
