If you wouldn't be able to cross the border keep up your courage. Why don't join anti-NATO demos in another city? There are a few places near the Czech border which serve as meeting points for people like you. In those cities there are demonstrations against NATO and against border repression planned.

So far there have been two meeting points established: Wroclav (Poland) and Dresden (Germany). For sure there will be another one, either Bratislava (Slovak republic) or Wien (Austria).

Wroclav

Wroclaw, south west of Poland (around 100 km away from the Czech border). This will be for sure important strategic point specially for polish activist going to Prague but everyone is invited to contact that group in order to get from them as much support as it will be possible. Already today you can get in touch with Wroclaw-team under tel. +48 609 089 523 or e-mail: granica

Wroclaw-team provides:

- current information about situation on different border-crossing in that region (west part of polish-czech border);

- warnings and good tips (people in Wroclaw are connected with various persons living very close to the borders !). Info will be collected as well from persons which already crossed border in order to draw the conclusions from their experiences;

- permanent exchange of information with other "border-support-points", communication with Prague and work with polish media;

- organization of solidarity actions in front of Czech consulat in Wroclaw in case of: represion on borders, brutality of Czech police in Prague, abuses of Czech authorities and police;

- possible organisation of demosntration on N21 if there will be enough people in the city wishing to participate in it;

- providing costless accomodation for relatively big number of people as well as cheap food;

- projections, prelections, parties – everything for activists (being on the way to Prague or being send back from the borders ) to make this days more interesting for them;

There will be more info soon. Groups or persons planning to make a stop in Wroclaw on the way to Prague are asked to contact people in Wroclaw before, in order to help local team to prepare everything well.

Dresden, Bratislava, Wien

More info soon. Please checked our website....

Call for Solidarity Actions around the World

Want to stay at home or can not go to Prague? What about preparing demo or another kind of protest in your region? In the appendix you can find a list of possible targets of your actions (Czech embassies and consulates) together with contacts for phoning and sending protest. If you prepare demo or solidarity action in your region, please let us know and we list it on our web pages. This is the right time for passing our global resistance to local level...

Also, please think about action of solidarity after Prague demos (maybe after you come back from Prague?), because strong repression is expected...
