The Second Southern California Anarchist Conference and Cultural Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 1 and 2, 2009 at the Southern California Library for Social Studies & Research, 6120 South Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90044 (Saturday) and the UCLA Downtown Labor Center, 675 S Park View St, Los Angeles, California 90057 (Sunday).

Childcare will be provided for the Anarchist Conference on August 1st at the Southern California Library for Social Studies and Research. Childcare will be coordinated by Anarcha L.A.

If you have prior experience in childcare and or are a parents who will be attending the event and would like to help please contact us prior to the August 1st via email: volunteer@anarchala.org or introduce yourself at the Anarcha -L.A. table the day of.

We are also putting together a box of kid suppplies- crafty stuff, face paint, dress up clothes, games. if any of you have things you’d like to lend or permanently donate, bring them the day of the conference.

We would also like to start a radical childcare collective so that Anarcha isn’t the only one providing childcare during Anarchist events. If any of you would like to be involved, know people that would like to be involved, etc., let us know!
